Sakuracon 2003

As promised, I finally got around to scanning in all my pics from Sakuracon 2003! I'm much too lazy to make thumbnails, so I typed descriptions and made links! Huzzah!
(I take no responsibility for mispelled words and/or names)

Final Fantasy - It seemed to be some sort of theme this year that people were dressing as different Final Fantasy related characters. They did have some pretty cool costumes.

Aeris's Revenge - Remember that one scene in FFVII? Well, this is a parody.
Aerris & Geoffio - We found out the ladies love Geoffio. Go figure.
Yuna & Squall - FFVIII meets FFX-2
Lulu - Nice kid that took a JN flier while we waited in line to meet Piro.
Moogle - Now THIS is what I call a costume!
Yuffie & Geoffio - Further proof that the ladies love Geoffio.
Yuffie - From FFVII
Yuna - FFX version.

Other Cosplayers

Nekos at 7-11 - You don't see that every day...
Blue Ranger - Someone actually had the guts to dress up like a Power Ranger. Whoever you are, you are a brave soul.
Butterfly - Or maybe its some kind of fairy. I really don't know the character, if any. All I know is, this is one of the best cosplay costumes I've ever seen in my life.
Candy Girl - If you're reading this candy girl, I want you to know that you have my utmost respect. Well, anyone who gives me free candy gets my respect, but still... Oh yeah, and she made it into a Penny-Arcade comic too!
Chobits1 - Another popular one this year was Chobits. I was very impressed with these costumes.
Chobits2
Chobits3
Cosplayer1 - Ok, I'll admit something to you right now. I haven't seen every series out there, and even on some that I have I can't remember their name. On that note, here are a bunch that I recignize but don't know the name or usually even what they're from. Enjoy.
Dunno1
Dunno2 - This lady was really nice about getting her picture taken, even though people stopped her every two steps.
Dunno3 - But I do know that has to hurt.
Dunno4 - Nice wings, though I don't know who you are.
"I'm Huge!" - I told this guy I was going to take one of those shots that would make him look huge. I think it went quite well.
Crowd1 - Misc pics of the crowds at the con.
Crowd2
Crowd3
Crowd4
Evangelion & Co.
FLCL - Cool guitar.
Group Shot - Here's a big group shot of many cosplayers. Hmmmm... who's that kid on the left?
Lime - From Saber Marionette J, one of the first anime I ever saw. I hold a special place in my heart for this show ^_^
Link - Seems like their is always at least one Link.
Misato - Another Evangelion cosplayer.
Nabishin - The afro sporting director of Excel Saga.
Pocky - Ok, not technically a cosplayer, in that, she's not wearing a costume. That's not the point. The point is, this person also owned a decepticon shirt just like the one that is my trademark. Turns out we're both big fans of Pocky too. Ok, so that may be a little obviouse.
PSO - Phantasy Star Online cosplayer. People still play that?
Master Roshi - Dragon Ball wise man Master Roshi, and one of the few costumes that I actually laughed out loud when I first saw.
Sanosuke - A female Sano-San.
Neko School Girl - There were a lot of cosplayers that simply added cat ears to their costumes. Hey, whatever works.
Slayers
Vash - The alterate color sceme action figure Vash, in the flesh. With some girl. Cute couple.
Neko-Vash - Female vash, only with a tail, and cat ears.
Wolfwood - Female Wolfwood. Even had her own portable confession booth.
General - Hey, it's that guy... um... yeah. I guess he's from Vandred, but I've never seen it.
Chun-Li - This hotel has cool walkways. Chun-Li was in one of them.
Otaku - You don't get much better than this.

Lines - If there is one constant in the universe (outside of death and taxes) its that at anything fun, there is bound to be long lines. Usually making it so you can't get in to the good stuff.

Music Video Contest - This is why we didn't get in to the AMV contest. It made us sad.
Dealer's Room1 - The always crowded dealer's room in all its glory.
Dealer's Room2
Line for Piro - This is the line we had to wait in to get Mr. Gallagher's autograph.
Jesse in Line1 - In the 3 hours or so that we had to wait to see Fred, Jesse constructed his very own MegaMan.

Web Comics

Fred1 - Here's Piro himself, with Saraphim and Merekat. They were all really nice, even though it was obvioius Fred needed a break. I guess anyone would get tired after the first 3 hours...
Piro & Spambot - Ok, so being the huge MT fan that I am, and because I'm a huge geek, I got a pic of the two of us. Too bad the focus was a bit off...
Fred2
Fred3
Panel1 - Here's Gabe, Tycho, Piro and a moderator guy at the webcomic panel.
Panel2

Our Stuff - Here are a few shots of our antics.

Sleepy - Any given weekend at my house.
Gamera1 - You just can't beat a cardboard Gamera costume.
Gamera2 - Turns out Gamera likes Doritos and Mountain Dew.
Ghetto Robo1
Ghetto Robo2 - Hey, kids, it's Ghetto Robo, the Jinko No-Bot! We got a lot of attention with this suit, and handed out a lot of JN fliers! (click here for larger version)
Ghetto Robo3
Ghetto Robo4
Super Geoffio - Jinko No's #1 (one of at least 3 people that claim the title) seen here sporting a Taki hoodie.
Game Room1 - No idea what this game is, but look at all the controls. That means it HAS to be good!
Game Room2 - Jesse tried to tacke Virtue-On for the Dreamcast.
Game Room3 - It's not as easy as it looks...
Game Room4 - Milo tries his skills at Super Smash Bro's Melee. Needless to say both of us kicked butt (after we warmed up)
Jesse1 - Sometimes Jesse doesn't "get" stuff...
Room - Jesse, Colby and Geoffio shared a room. I'm glad I wasn't in there...
Signs - Words of wisdom we can all live by.
Snohomish Anime Club - Yeah, I'm an alumni of Snohimish High School, so I have to give props to them for setting up their own Anime Club. I was a teacher's assistant for Mr. Fox-Bailey (he's the one that obviously the teacher)

Evacuation - Yes, someone managed to come up with the ultimate prank of all time that has never ever been thought of before. Oh, yes, pure genius at work! Strap in, you'll never believe how clever this is; They pulled the fire alarm! Oh, man! Hilarious!
(EXTREME sarcasm warning)

Evacuation1 - Here's everyone coming down the stairs to avoid the... nothing.
Evacuation2
Evacuation3

Rave - Crazy J-pop techno and Cosplayers shaking their groove thangs? Yeah, it's as bizzare as it sounds.

Rave1 - Crazy lighting makes taking pictures difficult.
Rave2
Rave3 - I like the cool blur effect I got with this shot.
Rave4 - An unusually reserved Milo looks on.
Rave5 - We left becaues Colby became sad from witnessing an Otaku Rave...
