First off, I'd like to announce we are now affiliated with NOOBSupport. I'm working on the bigger banner for you guys, I promise!

This week has sucked for sleep. I've tried to sleep, but I'm just not tired at night. Then I get up at 6am to get ready for work. That's not going to well.
The beauty part was today I also got sick from being out in the sun to long, and by "out in" I mean stuck in my car because of traffic. Ah, if you've never had the chance to get stuck in a really bad traffic jam, I highly recommend locking yourself in one of those metal sheds after drinking a few liters of water and then sitting there for at least an hour and a half.

Ok, I'm done being bitter...

On the plus side my rant title has given me a good idea for an album name, if I ever get that far with my band :P
(always look for the silver lining)

Aponce and I are trying to come up with some ideas about merchandise. If you have any suggestions, we have a thread going in the forums just for that!
We have a few ideas that we're kicking around already but nothing is for sure yet.

Oh, remember how Main Finger made the Theme Song for Jinko No? Well, the new album FACE!! is now available for download as well! The best part is it's free ^_^

Current Obsessions:

They Might Be Giants (permanent obsession)
Ozma
Jedi Outcast (thought I was over this one...)

Heh, actually, my birthday was last week. I decided to keep it quiet this year, though...No going out, no party, no noise. Just a few friends called to wish me a happy b-day and I pretty much got to enjoy a relaxing day with only a chocolate cake as a traditional reminder to the occassion. I also got some Birthday Cash, which worked out great.

Just in time for a visit to my favorite manga store, Book Off! Since it's farther away than Little Tokyo, I rarely get to go but it's always worth it. The used manga they sell is cheap and the selection is much newer. This time, I noticed their collected sets were gone, which is a shame. I remember when I bought nearly all the books of Bastard in a set for about a buck each! Despite the missing sets, it still feels like a kid walking in a candy store for me. There's just aisles and aisles of manga and it gets hard to choose which ones to get. After buying my big stash of manga, I still had one more stop to make.

Asahiya Bookstores is where I usually browse for the latest artbooks and this is where I saw the new Intron Depot book last time. Fortunately, they still had a couple of copies left and I decided to treat myself to one. I love Masamune Shirow's work and this book is probably the best one to get. His new CG style is pretty nice...Perhaps a little piecemeal and sloppy in the background composites, but his figure shading is awesome!

After a cool manga run, I sat down and finally updated my Studio AP site! I pretty much put up the new Beta version as it was and will keep adding more and more in the coming updates. I figured this was better than waiting longer for a more "complete" update. This also means that my forum will be officially open. It's nice to see members already signed up (Hi guys!) and I hope I get a chance to promote it soon.

As far as Jinko No is going, there's a new idea for a "Fan's Favorite" T-Shirt/Poster design poll! I've already got about 8 potential designs in mind and hope to get a couple more suggestions before the official poll begins. The top choice will end up as the Official Jinko No pic that'll be used for some neat merchandise. So for more details, or if you wanna submit an idea, be sure to check out the JN Forum!

So, overall, it was a pretty good birthday for me indeed...heheh!
